The 34th Youth Festival will be held in Medjugorje from July 26 to 30, 2023, and the theme of Mladifest, as well as of all international spiritual renewals in Medjugorje next year, is taken from Matthew's Gospel: "Here are my mother and my brothers!" (Mt 12, 49).

''Medjugorje as a contribution to the New Evangelization'' is the theme of the 14th Mariological-Marian National Congress

The congress has an international level, and will be held in Croatian and Italian languages.  In addition to the prayer program, there will be a total of 23 presentations on various topics related to Medjugorje.

On the feast of the Nativity of Our Lady, a church identical to the one in Medjugorje was consecrated in the Philippines

The Great Church of Saint James (Our Lady of Medjugorje) is located in the city of Talisay under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Diocese of Bacolod, which is headed by Bishop Mons. Patricio Buzon. And this church, like the original one in Medjugorje, was entrusted to the administration of the Order of Friars Minor through the Custody of St. Anthony of Padua - Philippines, and the church was opened today on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Our Lady.

Change in the timetable of the evening prayer programme in Medjugorje

As of Thursday, September 1, 2022, the schedule of the evening prayer programme is changing. The evening prayer programme begins with the Rosary at 5 p.m., and the Holy Mass at 6 p.m. The prayer of the Rosary on Apparition Hill will be on Sundays at 2 p.m., and the Stations of the Cross on Cross Mountain on Fridays at 2 p.m. the Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 to 8 p.m. Veneration of the Cross will be on Fridays from 7 to 8 p.m.

Fra Zvonimir Pavičić was inducted into the service of the parish priest of Medjugorje

The previous parish priest Fr. Marinko Šakota told everyone to thank the Lord and Mother Mary for the new parish priest and at the end he thanked the Lord, Our Lady and the parishioners for everything that happened during all these years, and asked for forgiveness if he had hurt anyone. (PHOTO)

The 33rd Youth Festival ended with the Holy Mass on Križevac

Young people from around 70 countries of the world from all the continents participated at this year's Youth Festival in Medjugorje. "You are called to be different, to be different from the world in which you are called to live.  Like this woman, be critics of those who have power, authority and positions, those who decide the destinies of nations and the world, so that we can all go together towards the strength of faith and witness to the truth.  It is no less courageous to be a Christian today than it was in the first century.  In this age of 'alternative facts', the challenge is to find the truth." Second day of the 33rd Youth Festival: Rosary, testimonies, prayer, catechesis, mass, procession...

Cardinal Omella: Make peace with God in this confessional of the world, in Medjugorje

Before the Holy Mass, which was concelebrated by nine bishops and archbishops and 473 priests, the parade took place with the flags of more than seventy countries from which pilgrims came to the Youth Festival this year, and then the message of the Holy Father Pope Francis to the participants of the Youth Festival was read by the Apostolic Visitor with a special  in the role for the parish of Medjugorje, Archbishop Aldo Cavalli.
