The annual apparition of our Lady to Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo on march 18, 2017

The visionary Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo had daily apparitions from June 24th 1981 to December 25th 1982. During the last daily apparition, Our Lady gave her the 10th secret, and told her that she would appear to her once a year, on the 18th of March.  It has been this way through the years.  (photos)

Maurizio Baldacci, President of Association of Italian leaders to Marian Shrines (AIASM), participated in the 24^th International Meeting for Group Leaders held in Medjugorje. He has been coming here since 2006, for these meetings and thinks such encounters are extremely important for formation of leaders of pilgrimages.

Hermine Bader from Germany came to participate in the 24^th International Meeting held in Medjugorje, as she is active in the Centre for Medjugorje in Germany. Information Centre “Mir” Medjugorje and Parish Office Medjugorje organised on Friday, February 24, presentation of book “100 most important Croatian men and women”, of the author Fr. Simun Sito Coric, who is a missionary in Switzerland, a writer, the university professor and music author. The purpose of this book is to give insight into the question of the most important Croatian men and women in the course of our history. (photos)

The Official Statement of the Franciscan Province of Herzegovina regarding the nomination of the Special Envoy of the Holy See to Medjugorje

At noon today, on February 11th 2017, the feast day of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes, the press office of the Holy See released a statement that the Holy Father, Pope Francis, has nominated a Special Envoy of the Holy See to Medjugorje, his Excellency Msgr.  Henryk Hoser, S.A.C, a Polish archbishop and the current Bishop of Warsaw-Prague (Poland).

Special Envoy of the Holy See Named for Medjugorje

On February 11, 2017, the Holy Father entrusted Archbishop Henryk Hoser, S.A.C., bishop of Warsaw-Prague (Poland), to go to Medjugorje as Special Envoy of the Holy See.

The mission has the aim of acquiring a deeper knowledge of the pastoral situation there and above all, of the needs of the faithful who go there in pilgrimage, and on the basis of this, to suggest possible pastoral initiatives for the future.

Feast of Blessed Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac and Holy Mass for murdered Franciscans in the World War II from Medjugorje parish

On the day when we remember Bl. Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac, February 10, Medjugorje parish also celebrates Holy Mass for martyred Franciscans who were born in this parish or served in in during the time of World War II. During and immediately after the World War II, communists killed 66 Franciscans in Herzegovina.

Testimony of Theler family: „Međugorje fulfils us with Bog, peace and love“

Theler family, Ezekiel, Rebecca and their mom Barbara, came from Switzerland. They’ve been coming to Medjugorje for the last few years, but the real reason of their pilgrimage this time is recording of their first CD of spiritual music that they have been doing in facilities of radio Mir Medjugorje.
