The visionary Ivanka Ivankovic-Elez had her regular annual apparition on June 25th 2020. At her last daily apparition on May 7, 1985, Our Lady confided to Ivanka the 10th secret and told her that she would have an apparition once a year on the anniversary of the apparitions. It was that way also this year.
The apparition, which lasted 5 minutes (18:40h - 18:45h), took place at Ivanka’s family home. Only Ivanka’s family was present at the apparition. After the apparition, Ivanka said:
Our Lady gave the following message: “Pray, pray, pray.”
Our Lady blessed us all.

On Wednesday, June 24, the Peace Walk will take place from Humac, Shrine of St. Anthony at 4 pm and we are to come to Medjugorje around 10 am. Parish office invites all parishioners and pilgrims, especially the youth to join us in this Walk.

The International Spiritual Retreat for Priests that was to be held from July 6-11, 2020 is being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This retreat is rescheduled for July 5-10, 2021.

Lately, many of you have contacted us and shared your difficulties when trying to send your contributions for expanding our live streaming capacities in several languages at our bank accounts. Hereby, we kindly send you our apologies for this.
We need to say that we, too, had difficulties since we sometimes had to pay for bank provision more money than the actual donation (for instance when the amount of couple of euros would be sent). In this way, both you and we were only helping banks.
Finally, at your request, our media centre ICMM was able to open PayPal account and this problem, is thankfully, resolved in that. Now, you are also able to contribute the minimum donation and cover our production, translation and live streaming services to the whole world.

Medjugorje in these days looks empty and there are not many people in the streets, no pilgrims and people of Medjugorje cannot be in the church due to sanitary demands. However, those families are big families with several different generations, and they all pray together every day, particularly the rosary. This Medjugorje liturgy is broadcasted to the whole world too – Holy Mass and Adorations and this is how the connection between Medjugorje, and pilgrims is kept, between all those who are longing for this place and anticipate the time when they would be able to return there.

Morning Holy Masses in Medjugorje will be every day at 8 am at the White Dome. This Sunday, Holy Masses will be at 8, 11 and 6 pm. Parish Office is asking all people who attend Holy Mass to respect rules designated for this occasion.

On Saturday, after the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Fr. Marinko Sakota, Medjugorje parish priest will give his catechesis. We would like to remind you that on Thursday, after the evening prayer programme, we bring you our new project ‘News from Medjugorje’, available on our Facebook page, YouTube channel and live streaming service, first time broadcasted last Thursday.

In 1998 he moved to Kimungo and stayed there until 2017, when he returned to his Province in Herzegovina and served as the confessor and assistant parish priest in Medjugorje in St. James parish from 2017, until his death.
