The 8th International Pilgrimage for Persons and Children with Disabilities finished in Medjugorje

Holy Masses, testimonies, dances, prayer of Rosary and the Way of the Cross is something that marked this pilgrimage and many of them had their major desire fulfilled when they were taken up in the hands of people and communities from Medjugorje – Mary’s Hands, Cenacolo, Mountain Rescue Service, taxi drivers and many others carried all disabled up to the apparition site.

After Sunday Holy Mass, farewell and departure, many of them anticipate the following year and their coming here again, since for all of them this is the unique opportunity to meet with the people who have same problems, to get to know each other better, but also to be able to come to Apparition Hill, something that is impossible in the ordinary circumstances. In this short time, we received several requests for the news on our web site to be translated more swiftly and in more languages, if possible. In order for us to please desires and needs of all of you, we need your help in translations in this new time in Our Lady's school of Medjugorje.

PHOTO Holy Week and Easter in Medjugorje

''For two thousand years there is no better news than this one, Risen Jesus, Son of God, is looking for us where we are. He is not afraid to come close to us, to touch us in our depths and to take us up, to the fullness of life. This miracle takes place each day here in Medjugorje. We come back to the grace of our baptism and become able to spread the faith of the Church and to walk on the path of holiness and salvation'', said Mons. Hoser and added that St. John Paul II, in the year 2000, introduced the first Sunday after the Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday, the greatest fruit of His Death and Resurrection''. (photo)

Mons. Hoser in his homily on Palm Sunday: We need those bitter tears of St. Peter

How many Christians were baptised, received the sacraments, fell into the sins and became atheists, liberals and enemies of the Christ and His Church. Crucify him, forbid him and spit on him!

How many times we force crosses on others instead of helping them to carry those crosses? How many times we betray God and our loved ones?

Dear brothers and sisters, the Holy Week is inviting us to weep just like St. Peter did. He swore that he did not know Jesus and then recalled His words to him, that he would deny him three times before the rooster crows. And so Peter came out and wept bitterly. Yes, we all need those tears.
