On Wednesday, May 24, the 5th International Seminar for Life began in Medjugorje that gathered around 200 participants from 15 countries. The theme of this seminar is “That your love may increase ever more” (Phil 1, 9) – In Our Lady’s School, which is at the same time title of all seminars that will be held this year in Medjugorje.
The following international seminar to be held in Medjugorje is the fifth International Seminar for Life, to be held from May 24-27, 2017. The theme of this seminar is “ That your love may increase ever more” (Phil 1:9). This seminar is usually attended by doctors and medical workers, pro – life activists, but it is also for couples who lost a child, who were wounded by abortions, miscarriages, it is for couples who desire to have a child, victims of domestic violence, single parents and pregnant women….
On Thursday, May 25, we will celebrate the Feast of the Ascension of our Lord. Holy Masses in the parish church in Medjugorje will be at 8, 11 and 6 pm. On Thursday, since it is the 25th in the month, we will also have the whole night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The Eucharistic Adoration will take place from 7 to 8 pm, and then the Blessed Sacrament shall be exposed in the church until 7 am on the following day.

The 6th International Pilgrimage for Persons with Disabilities will be held in Medjugorje from June 15 – 18, 2017.
Summer timetable of the prayer programme begins on Thursday, June 1st and will be in force until August 31, 2017. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. and Holy Mass at 7 p.m. while after Holy Mass the regular prayer programme will follow, depending on the each day in the week. Adorations on Wednesdays and Saturdays will be from 10 to 11 pm, and on Thursdays at 8 pm.
Association of Women „Katarina Zrinski” from Daruvar organises pilgrimages to Medjugorje since 1996. They come from two parishes in Daruvar (town in Croatia) – parish of the Most Holy Trinity and of St. Anthony of Padua. (photos)

The 28th International Youth Prayer Meeting in Medjugorje – Youth Festival, is going to be held from August 1 to August 6, 2017. The programme will be made of catechesis, testimonies, Eucharistic celebrations, prayers and Adorations of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Two retired brothers, 57-years old Leopold and 77-years old Johann Schmidthaler, and 69-years old Hermann Stoderegger and 62-years old Leopold Schörkhober came to Medjugorje on tractors. (photos)
Two Croats from Gradisce, 76-years old Richard Markovich and 62-years old Karl Leeb, both retired and living in Baumgarten in Austria, walked for 700 kilometers in 17 days and finally arrived to Medjugorje. They spoke about their experiences on this pilgrimage in the programme of Radio „Mir“ Medjugorje. They began this trip in early morning on April 21 and arrived to Medjugorje in late afternoon on May 7, 2017. (photos)
Humanitarian Association “Mary’s Hands” was founded in July 2016, in Medjugorje, with the purpose of helping to the poor and all those in need of help. Prior to establishment of the Association, these members were active in Medjugorje for three years in office for those in need. (photos)
May is a month devoted to Our Lady in a special way along with the month of October. We are all called to be a bit more actively involved in the evening prayer programme – prayer of Rosary and Holy Mass, so we would thank Mary for all graces we received in the last 36 years. (photos)

Married couple Kristina and Zvonimir Barač come from the Croatian Catholic Mission Zürich in Switzerland. They have five children from 6 months to 10 years of age, and Kristina came to live there in the beginning of the homeland war here. They spoke on our radio Mir and shared the story of their conversion in Medjugorje, how their life of faith began when their first child was born and how they came with him here.
Croatian musician Marija Husar, together with Alan Hržica and Petar Buljan, led prayer and worship celebration on April 22, at the White Dome of St. James’ church in Medjugorje. Marija was our guest in the radio programme of radio Mir Medjugorje and she spoke about her experience of Medjugorje, as she has been coming here since 2004.
