Holy Mass was celebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Archbishop Luigi Pezzuto in concelebration with bishop of Mostar Duvno Diocese, Petar Palic, Arcbishop of Vrhbosna Vinko Puljic and another two bishops and 95 priests, among whom were the Provincial of Herzegovinian Franciscan Province Fr. Pope Francis also sent the letter with expression of condolences and Christian hope, thanking Archbishop Hoser for all he did for the Church. During the funeral ceremony condolences were expressed by many including the President of the Polish Episcopal Conference, Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki, Msgr. TomoVuksic gave a farewell speech on behalf of Episcopal Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Funeral Holy Mass for Msgr. Henryk Hoser will be served on Friday, August 20 at 12 pm in the Cathedral of Warsaw Praga Diocese, led by Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, Archbishop of Warsaw. The funeral service will follow after Holy Mass when his body will be laid in the crypt of the Warsaw Praga cathedral and homily will be given by Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda.

Today Christ the Lord calls us to look in the heights; it is really important to remind modern consumers that we eat to live and not live to eat. Jesus, who knows the human heart, wants to respond to our deepest desires, to our most essential longings, to this hunger for Love and this thirst for the Absolute that torments us. “The fact that Cardinal Sarah, and all other archbishops and bishops would come to the Youth Festival is a great event and major joy for each of us. Youth are happy when they see their shepherds with them, and shepherds are happy to see so many youth at one place gathered in prayer and worship of the Lord”, said Fr.
