Under the motto "Here are my mother and my brothers!" (Mt 12, 49) this year's Youth Festival is held for the 34th time, and will last from July 26 to 30. Due to the World Youth Day in Lisbon, which will be attended by Pope Francis and will take place in the first days of August, the date of the Medjugorje Youth Festival has been moved to the end of July, so that young pilgrims can participate in both of these events.
This year again, thousands of young people will listen to catechesis and testimonies, pray, participate in the evening prayer program, and hundreds of thousands of them will not be able to be in Medjugorje at the end of July. In order for them not to be excluded from the Youth Festival program held at the White Dome of St. James’ church in Međugorje, this year too Mir Međugorje Information Center will cover a video transmission of the entire program of the 34th International Youth Prayer Festival in twenty languages.
The morning and afternoon program of the Youth Festival, as well as the evening prayer-liturgical program, will be available inCroatian and in many other languages, and in addition to the Media Mir Medjugorje channels that will broadcast everything, a large number of other media houses will also be included in the broadcasting of the Youth Festival, all who have received the rights to transmit, and the list of which is not yet final.
