The Information Centre Mir Medjugorje, as the holder of the exclusive right for recording of the audio-visual part and photographs at all prayer areas of the parish Medjugorje, announced the invitation to media for broadcasting of the 32nd Youth Festival, to be held in Medjugorje from August 1 to 6, 2021.
Many media representatives from all over the world responded to the invitation to broadcast this year’s Youth Festival, and the Information Centre Mir Medjugorje enabled translation to 15 languages (Croatia, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, French, Slovakian, Czech, Hungarian, Korean, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian and Slovenian).
“The Youth Festival in Medjugorje is really special, it is indeed miraculous experience of faith and prayer. All that takes place at this event, starting with introduction of all nations, prayer of Rosary on Apparition Hill, morning prayers, catechesis, testimonies, choir and orchestra, volunteers, the evening prayer programme, the Rosary, the Eucharist, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, prayer with the candles, procession with the Statue of Our Lady, Cenacolo community performance, mission and farewell and final Holy Mass on top of Cross Mountain at 5 am in the morning – all these events are truly inflaming our soul and the spirit, feed us with healthy spiritual food, fill us with special and profound peace and joy, give strong encouragement so we may leave faith and prayer, walk with Gospa and Jesus in our daily life”, said Fr. Marinko Sakota, the parish priest of Medjugorje, describing the Youth Festival.
Due to Covid 19 measures, many who want to be here, are not able to take part in this year’s Youth Festival, but it shall be organised in your language through our media platforms and partners who will be taking the signal of the Information Centre Mir Medjugorje in the high-quality production of 10 cameras and bring it to your homes in your own language.
The International Youth Festival will be held from August 1-6, 2021, with the theme: “What good must I do?” (Mt 19, 16)
Along with radio Mir Medjugorje, our livestream programme shall be broadcasted in all 15 languages at the website www.medjugorje.hr You can follow the programme on our YouTube channels Media Mir Medjugorje in nine languages (Croatian, English, Italian, Spanish, Polish, German, French, Slovakian, Russian).
