The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world came to Medjugorje for the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary. During the night, numerous pilgrims came walking from the near and far parishes all around Medjugorje. One group of women came walking from Livno. On August 14 and 15, about 50.000 pilgrims were in Medjugorje.

The Mass of the Vigil was presided by Fr. Dragan Ružić (with 52 concelebrating priests), the 11’o clock Mass on the 15^th by Fr. Petar Vlašić, and the Evening Mass by Fr. Tomislav Pervan (with 58 concelebrating priests).
