The Night of Thanksgiving held in Medjugorje

date: 13.11.2018.

On Monday, November 12, the Night of Thanksgiving was held in Medjugorje in the Hall of John Paul II, for all Medjugorje parishioners who in the last years expressed their charity and mercy in numerous deeds of love by helping those who were in need. The evening began with the concert of music groups from the parish.

Medjugorje parish priest, Fr. Marinko Sakota, thanked all those who took priests for free in their homes, as well as persons with disabilities and other pilgrims, and to all those who were helping others in any way.

At the end of the evening, the Apostolic Visitor for Medjugorje parish, Mons. Henryk Hoser, addressed all the present and said: „This was such a lovely night and we had many beautiful and moving moments together. We just heart some thoughts on thanksgiving and how to do that and yet to know that gratitude is the response to the gift we received. But, it is possible to give something after we received something too. We had opportunity to see the experience of this youth full of love and talents. I never met any nation that is so talented for music like you are here in Herzegovina. Your youth is also very hard working, as those talents require hard work too. This was truly professional experience“. Mons. Hoser was at the end given some of the local and authentic gifts. (photos)
