The Franciscan Youth from Medjugorje held their first concert on Monday, June 10 in the Hall of St. John Paul II in Medjugorje. This concert was special because apart from the popular spiritual music, they also performed pop evergreens and music from the Youth Festival. Damir Bunoza, leader of music group of the Franciscan Youth said that he has been working with them for the last two year: „We danced, sang, talked to each other, we got to know leaders of other groups, there are also music groups that play guitar, clarinet, saxophone, flute and violin. They have all performed as our friends. I love working with youth here in Medjugorje, with these spiritual people that sing from their hearts. This is the biggest charm of Medjugorje. I am honored that we got to do this concert after two years”. Zdravka Šego, a member of the Franciscan Youth, said that they were able to show all their work in the past year and that they were hoping to continue this same journey. The Franciscan Youth exists in Medjugorje since 1995, and they are contributing a lot to the spiritual atmosphere of this famous parish with everything they do in their efforts.
