The 23rd International Spritual Retreat for Priests finished in Medjugorje on July 7, with the Holy Mass at 11 am and more than 300 participants from 24 countries gathered for this event. The retreat began with the evening prayer programme on Monday, July 2. Fr. Ante Vuckovic, lecturer at the seminar celebrated the evening Holy Masses at the White Dome of St. James’ church every night. The coordinator is Fr. Marinko Sakota, the parish priest, while the theme is "Living on the Word of God
“Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures” (Lk 24:45). Besides lectures, all participants took part in the evening prayer programme and climbed the Apparition Hill for the prayer of the Rosary on Thursday morning, and the Way of the Cross on Friday morning. (photos)
