date: 02.10.2010.

The 11th International Seminar for married couples with main theme: “Love does not seek for its own interest...” finished this Saturday with Holy Mass at 11 a.m. This year’s lecturer was Friar Ante Vuckovic from Split, and there were more than 160 participants from 8 different countries. During the last four days of the Seminar, couples participated in lectures, sharing, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and in evening prayer programme in the church of St. James.
We spoke with Anabela and Robert Matejovic from Slovakia, who have been married for the last 20 years, have three sons and live in Kosice. Robert is a journalist and publisher of one magazine. Anbela is a teacher and said that she came to Medjugorje because she had desire to receive some kind of new perspective for their marriage and their relationship with God.  In regards to this Seminar, she said that she came for the first time three years ago.  She wants to learn what it means to forgive and to heal wounded heart.  “I pray for all of the people, that Our Lady helps to all. This is the place of love, joy, penance and peace.”
Robert said that after they heard first lecture on Wednesday, they were completely impressed with everything Friar Ante said. Medjugorje is quietest and most peaceful place that he ever had visited, and provides him with continuous inspiration and living faith. (foto)
