Testimony of Manuela Reato from Italy

date: 06.05.2015.

Many pilgrims have arrived in Medjugorje during the last few days and the largest groups have come from Italy. We were blessed to have Manuel Reato, a 34 year old young man, who comes from Turin in Italy, visit our radio station, as he has been a listener and supporter for many years now. Manuel also brings groups of pilgrims to Medjugorje.  During all of these years he has also been engaged in learning Croatian, all on his own. He said that his life was completely changed here, where he found his purpose in life and the meaning of his cross: “I've been coming to Medjugorje since 1990.  Iit was little by little that the Gospa took me into her service. I heard about Medjugorje when I was nine years old, from a work colleague of my mum, who came and spoke to us about Medjugorje.  At first, I did not believe in it, but with time I was able to see that it was the truth. That truth later on influenced my life. The Gospa was there to monitor me in my spiritual growth. Upon returning home, I began to live the Gospa's messages. The most important thing for us is to hear her words and to change ourselves. This is where we need to discover peace which we should bring to our home towns. I am trying to do that with every pilgrim who comes to Medjugorje with me. I come to Medjugorje at least twice a year and thanks to Radio Mir Medjugorje, I was able to learn Croatian“, said Manuel who has been cooperating with our Information Centre since 2004, when he began to translate into Italian all the news for  the official web site.
