As a part of the Encounter of Prayer Communities, Groups, Homes of Prayers and Associations joined into the Coordination of Renewal in the Holy Spirit of Croatia, prayer communities “God’s Victory” and “Heart of Jesus” held on Saturday, April 22, after the evening Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Damir Stojic, one-hour long prayer and worship celebration. Alan Hržica, musician and Marija Husar, singer, also performed. At the same time, this was the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Croatia and in the world and the concert was live broadcasted on Radio Mir Medjugorje.
Prayer Community “Heart of Jesus” gathers more than 500 young people from all over Croatia in Zagreb, at the site in the centre of the town – Kamenita vrata, and all of them desire to bring something positive to their town and their country with their music, prayer and concrete deeds.
Youth Prayer Community “God’s Victory” was founded in 2007, in the church of the Holy Mother of Freedom in Jarun, Zagreb. This community values charismatic spirituality and they are members of the Renewal in the Holy Spirit of Zagreb Archdiocese. Their prayer meetings consist of praise and worship, prayers, talks, testimonies and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. (photos)
