Postulants of the Croatian Franciscan Province of Sts. Cyril and Methodius visited Medjugorje

date: 17.04.2015.

Pilgrims from all over the world have visited Medjugorje this April. Due to the large number of those who arrived and thanks to the beautiful weather, the evening prayer programme has been held at the White Dome of the church of St. James since Saturday, April 11.  The Information Office registered groups of pilgrims from Canada, England, Slovenia, Slovakia, France, Hungary, Albania, Austria, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Latvia, Korea, Italy, the United States, Ireland, and many groups from Croatia. About a hundred of them arrived last weekend from Samobor, a town in the north of Croatia and were led by the postulants of the Croatian Franciscan Province of Saints Cyril and Methodius and their tutor Fr. Marin Grbesic. It has become a tradition that Franciscans from Samobor come to Medjugorje after Easter and it is an opportunity for all interested faithful from their parishes to join them. They visited the hills in Medjugorje and participated in the evening prayer programme of the Medjugorje parish.
