date: 02.06.2017.

In the last days of month of May, devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, groups of pilgrims arrived from Spain, Italy, Belgium, Slovakia, Ukraine, Poland, the United States, Germany, Lebanon, Austria, Ireland, England, Canada, Argentina, Hungary, France, Philippines, Netherlands, Switzerland, Panama, India, Korea and Mexico.

Journalists of radio station Mir Medjugorje had opportunity to talk to interesting pilgrims. Fr. Josip Žagar, parish priest in the parish of Mother of God from Fatima in Lukavac close to Zagreb, spoke about his impressions of Medjugorje: «I came to Medjugorje for the first time as a young priest and that was in the eighties. I come to Medjugorje at least once a year, either privately or with pilgrims from my parish. One can always finds, as well as in every other Marian shrine, something that feeds him and nourishes him spiritually. Every pilgrimage is a new pastoral opportunity and spiritual enrichment, something we can use later on in the pastoral of our parish and to bring it to other faithful, especially those in need.» (photos)
