Pilgrim from Barbados in Medjugorje

date: 20.05.2015.

Therese Gloumeau from far Barbados came to Medjugorje in the middle of May to participate at the retreat held for doctors and medical workers. She is a cardiologist and has been doing that for 44 years now. This is what Therese told us about her trip to Medjugorje: „Our journey is very long as we need to fly for 36 hours. This is not my first visit to Medjugorje, but it is my first time to be at this retreat. I heard about this retreat from my colleague Rachel that also comes from Barbados. She invited me to come with her and I agreed straight away. I really love Medjugorje and I came he for the first time in 2003. I wanted to come earlier as well, but it was not possible unfortunately. Obviously Gospa decided it was now time to come again. Sometimes I spend quite a lot of time with people doing various tests for the and very often they open up to me. It is obvious that many of them have many problems, that is why I feel this seminar is very useful as it gives me insight how to help them and what should I say to them about the inner peace and about finding and discovering their personal relationship with God."
