The ambulance Donum Dei of the Order of Malta in Medjugorje closed down their facilities in Medjugorje for this season on the last day of October.
The ambulance was opened in 2002, and placed in the vicinity of St. James’ church. The volunteers in this ambulance are providing free health service, working in the spirit and under the motto of the Order of Malta – Defence of faith and help to those in need. Initially, the ambulance was opened in the period from May 1 to November 1, but in the last few years they start working already on the Palm Sunday.
