The prayer pro-life initiative «40 days for life» was held for the first time in Mostar from September 23 to November 1, 2015. The organisation team of this initiative shared with us their testimony about all of the graces they received while they prayed and spent time together outside the Clinical Hospital in Bijeli Brijeg, Mostar. „At the very end, our initiative is about to organise the unique event in our country – March for Life, that will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2015. We invite all those who had prayed with us in these months, as well as all those who desire to give a public statement and brave expression of their free will, to come and join us outside the Clinical Hospital Centre in Mostar, on Saturday, November 9, so all together, in fellowship and prayer, we would walk to Medjugorje where we plan to join all other pilgrims in the evening prayer programme. Even though this walk is not easy, we desire to unite all of our efforts and sacrifices into the plea for those who do not have a right of say and to invoke God’s blessing on our town and our Herzegovina.”
“40 days for life” is the world’s largest international coordinated pro-life organisation in the history. It enables people in the local communities to draw attention to the problem of abortions and to end this great injustice through three key elements: prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil and change of local community attitudes.
