Days of Bread – days of thanksgiving for the fruits of the earth – are celebrated in October of each year in kindergartens, in schools and in various other educational institutions.
In this recurring celebration, through prayer, blessings and the symbolic eating of the bread, we thank God for all the fruits, joys, success and gifts that we have received during the year, both as individuals and as a nation.
This year in Medjugorje, the celebration took place on Sunday the 14th of October, when the children of Medjugorje prepared and presented a special program under the guidance of sister Slavica Kožul.
