Christmas wishes of Fr. Marinko Sakota, the parish priest of Medjugorje

date: 24.12.2018.

Fr. Marinko Sakota sent Christmas wishes through radio Mir Medjugorje:

“May you all have blessed Christmas and Holy birth of Jesus! Dear parishioners, dear listeners of radio Mir Medjugorje, I wish to congratulate you all Christmas, as I really wish for each one of us to be honest on this day, to have open and joyful hearts for this Feast, to celebrate it in such way so this could be the beginning of a new relationship towards Jesus, a new journey as the Christian. This is something we always need. This is what I desire for each of you.

God is coming to us, this is what Christmas means – immense God becomes small, becomes a child, becomes insignificant and He begins with us. God does not wait for us, for us to change, but He comes to help us change, to invite us and to forgive us as He loves us so much.

Christmas is the invitation to each one of us to start doing the same, to make the first steps, not to wait for the other people, but to be the ones who will go to them, to be the first ones in forgiving, the first ones in greeting them, to be the ones who will make the initiative and to take part in that.

Dear friends, once again, may you all have blessed Christmas!”, said Fr. Marinko Sakota.
