In the parish of Medjugorje, the novena to the birth of Christ is in progress, all until the Christmas Eve, the Rosary is said every day on Apparition Hill.
On Christmas Eve, early Holy Mass is celebrated. There is no organized prayer of Rosary on Apparition Hill on that day. The evening prayer program in the parish church begins with the Rosary at 5 p.m. Christmas Eve Holy Mass is at 6 p.m. Confession is from 4 to 6 p.m. A prayer vigil begins at 10:30 p.m., followed by Midnight Holy Mass at 12:00 a.m.
Next Sunday, December 25, is Christmas, the celebration of Christ's birth. Holy Masses in the parish church are at 7, 8, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Holy Masses in local churches are at 10 o'clock. In the evening, there will not be the usual all-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
This year, the Christmas congratulation in the parish will be held on the grounds of our old church after the main Holy Mass, it was announced in the Medjugorje parish office.
