Mons. Brendan Oliver Comiskey, SS.CC., Bishop Emeritus of Ferns (Ireland) visited Medjugorje from the 21st to the 28th of September, 2007, together with a group of pilgrims from Ireland. From 1980 to 1984, he was Auxiliary Bishop of Dublin, and thereafter, from 1984 to 2002, he was Bishop of Ferns.
Mons. Comiskey presided over the English Mass in addition to following the pilgrim prayer program.
