Archbishop from Peru in Medjugorje

date: 21.04.2015.

Mons. Salvador Pineiro Garcia-Calderon, an archbishop from Peru, was in Medjugorje recently. This is his second visit. He arrived here in 2003, for the first time. In his interview for our radio station, Mir Medjugorje, he told us: “We’ve been listening to the events here for a long time, to the messages of Our Lady about conversion and adoration, but it was not easy to come here, as this is very far from where we live. Some pilgrims were able to come and I came here thanks to a servant of Mary. We have a centre in Lima called the Queen of Peace and people who spread Our Lady’s messages go there. They always introduce us to Medjugorje, each time more and more. During my time here I was able to hear so many confessions and for me, as a priest, this is such a consolation; to see pilgrims, who come in pain and in tears, return home comforted. That is a fruit and a miracle of this place.”
