Matija Kopić – an innovator with a personal story

Matija Kopić is one of the most important Croatian experts in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. He was born in 1986 in Viljevo near Donji Miholjac, and graduated in information technology from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.

His first significant AI project arose from a personal initiative he designed a solution for an AI farm for his mother, to make it easier for her to manage agricultural processes. This experience fueled his interest in innovation and led him towards the entrepreneurship and technological development.

Before founding the successful startup Farmeron, which he developed and successfully sold, Kopić founded Gideon Brothers in 2017 a company that develops autonomous mobile robots and AI systems for logistics and industrial automation. Under his leadership, Gideon Brothers won the prestigious AI European Rising Star award, beating out competition from over 30 countries.

Kopić’s robotic systems use advanced artificial intelligence and 3D vision to autonomously move and perform complex tasks. In addition to technological excellence, Matija strongly promotes an ethical approach to technology development, putting human dignity and moral values at the forefront.

Matthew Harvey Sanders Pioneer of the Catholic Artificial Intelligence

Matthew Harvey Sanders is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of the artificial intelligence and digital evangelism. As a founder and CEO of Longbeard, he combines the advanced technology with the Catholic values, developing tools that enable believers and church communities to better understand the faith in the digital age.

His most famous project is Magisterium AI - an artificial intelligence trained exclusively on the documents of the Catholic Church, including the Catechism, encyclicals, and the canonical texts. The goal is to provide reliable answers about the faith, support pastoral needs, and serve as a tool for the evangelization, education, and pastoral support. The project is used in more than 165 countries and is recognized as an innovative synthesis of technology and spiritual reflections.

Sanders frequently speaks at the international conferences and symposia, speaking on the ethical use of the artificial intelligence, the role of the Church in the digital space, and how technology can support, not replace, our spiritual quest and relationship with God.
