The IT conference in Medjugorje has ended: the seed has been sown with the establishment of the IT community

The newly formed Catholic IT community from Medjugorje is actually a sown seed that a group of technological professionals will continue to water, nurture, in order to spread into large branches all over the world and to bring the abundant fruit for the good of the whole world. Of course, our doors are open to all those who recognize themselves as a part of this group, and we invite them to join us. (FOTO)

The first Catholic IT conference in Medjugorje

The conference was inspired by the Pope's words about the need to adapt the Church to modern means of technology, and the goal of the conference is to gather experts willing to apply their skills in projects that combine the technological world with spirituality and the contribution of spreading evangelization.

In Medjugorje, the sculpture of St. John Paul II was installed

The unveiling ceremony of the sculpture took place on Sunday, March 3 after the main Holy Mass, and the unveiling and blessing of the sculpture was attended by Msgr. Aldo Cavalli, the Apostolic Visitor with a special role for the parish of Međugorje, the parish priest of Međugorje, Fr. Zvonimir Pavičić, the author of this work, the artist Guido Rainaldi, and parishioners and pilgrims.

IT CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN MEDJUGORJE FROM MARCH 7-10, 2024

Encouraged by the Pope's words: "It is necessary for the mission of the Church to adapt to the times and to use the modern means that technology makes available to us", we invite to the IT conference all of the technological professionals who want to apply their skills, abilities and expertise in projects related to the permeation of the technological world and thw spirituality, as well as to the spread of evangelization.

In May, the 10th International Pilgrimage for children with the developmental disabilities and people with disabilities takes place

The 10th International Pilgrimage for Children with Developmental Disabilities and Persons with Disabilities will be held in Medjugorje from May 17-19, 2024.

In the previous 2023 there have been 1 731 000 Holy Communions given in the church, and total of 42 647 priests that concelebrated at Holy Masses.

OUR LADY’S ANNUAL APPARITION TO JAKOV - DECEMBER 25, 2023

At the last daily apparition to Jakov Colo on September 12th, 1998, Our Lady told him that henceforth he would have one apparition a year, every December 25th, on Christmas Day. This is also how it was this year. The apparition began at 2:20 pm and lasted 6 minutes. Our Lady came with little Jesus in her arms. Through Jakov, Our Lady gave the following message:

Dear children, today with my Son in my arms, I desire to call all of you to pray to the little Jesus for the healing of your heart. Children, often in your hearts sin rules which destroys your life and you can not feel God's presence. That is why, on this day of grace, when grace is spreading throughout the whole world, surrender your life and your heart to the Lord, so that the Lord may heal them with His grace. Only with pure hearts will you be able to experience the birth of Jesus anew in you, and the light of His birth will illuminate your life. I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Cardinal Daniel Sturla, Archbishop of Montevideo and Primate of Uruguay, met with Br. Zvonimir Pavičić

Upon arrival in Montevideo, Br. Zvonimir was welcomed by Father Marcelo Marciano, who testified at this year's Youth Festival, and Br. Zvonimir also met with members of the Medjugorje Center foundation, and at the end Br. Zvonimir held a catechesis while celebrating the Holy Mass.

Stipe Ćavar, the first employee of the Mir Međugorje Information Center passed away

Everything he did, he did with so much zeal, dedication, fervor and responsibility according to his own conscience. With his inner attitude towards the work, he developed to the end all the talents that God gave him. In all this, he was an exceptionally a good soul, a good man. When it was necessary to protect this project and desire of Our Lady with work and deeds, you were not afraid to expose yourself and your family. You did not fear anyone, only the Lord.
