date: 04.06.2015.

On the Feast of Corpus Christi, on Thursday, June 4, during the evening Holy Mass at 7 p.m. at the White Dome of St. James' church, there was live performance of  „Gloria” by A. Vivaldi as well as  „Coronation Mass”  by W.A. Mozarta. The performers were: Academic Choir of the University of Mostar, Choir of the University of Mostar, Academic choir Pro musica, leader of the choir: Katja-Krolo Šarac and Dragan Filipović, corepetitor: Marijana Pavlović, Symphonic Orchestra Mostar, soloists: Ilijana Korać, Monija Jarak, Stefano Surian, Mario Krnić. Igor Tatarević was the conductor of the whole performance. This is the first time in our region that such classical piece was performed during the Holy Mass celebration. „It was my desire for a long time to perform this piece as this music was composed for the Holy Mass, for those parts of the Holy Mass that cannot be changed, I am really glad that I found people who were prepared to accept it, first of all, parish priest Fr. Marinko Sakota. This music is a bit hard to comprehend, but it is beautiful, nobel and it enriches us all. The unrepeatable Mozart wrote it for the glory of God, and for people to benefit of it”, said Fr. Dragan Filipović, conductor of the Academic choir Pro musica from Mostar.
