The impressions of the participants of the International Meeting of Organisers of pilgrimages, Leaders of Peace Centres, prayer and charity groups in Medjugorje

date: 04.03.2015.

Among the participants of the 22nd International Meeting of Organisers of pilgrimages, Leaders of Peace Centres, prayer and charity groups for Medjugorje, that is currently being held here, we had chance to meet and to talk to Magdalena Kolar from Switzerland. She told us about the activities of the prayer group the Queen of Peace that was created 14 years ago, thanks to Fr. Karlo Lovric, who at that time was serving in their parish in Switzerland. “It was a movement created from the family prayer. We had friends and every time they would visit us, we would miss our family prayer. That is how we decided to pray together. One other family joined us and soon, the house became too small. We asked Fr. Karlo if we could meet in the chapel of our church. It was just as God’s Providence guided us and we began meeting and praying there, with his approval. In the beginning, there were 7 of us, and now there are 50 of us. Once a week we meet in our missions in Aarau where we are active. We are joyful because every Thursday our priest from the missions is with us”, said Magdalena who is here for the eighth time. She also added: “The introduction lecture we had on the first day was a confirmation to us that we passed through the path that Fr. Slavko recorded in his books,  how one prayer group should be living and functioning and I am really joyful, as that is just great sign how Gospa is leading all of this.”
