The choir “Queen of Peace” of the parish of St. James in Medjugorje celebrated this Tuesday, November 24, 2015, their 25th anniversary of their work. After the Holy Mass of thanksgiving celebrated by Fr. Mate Dragicevic, the programme continued in the Hall of St. John Paul II, when their new CD „Salve Regina” was presented as well as the memorial book of their work in these 25 years. The evening began with the song and music. After the song „Mnogaja ljeta” (Many summers), performed by Marija Bosnjak, Fr, Marinko prayed for Fr. Slavko and the song was dedicated to Fr. Slavko. Fr. Slavko Topic, the professor of the church music and composer is the author of this new CD „Salve Regina“ and he presented it. Fr. Mario Knezovic, parish priest from Kocerin, spoke about this memorial book published after 25 years. The former members of the choir as well as the associates of their associates gathered and sang hymn to Heavenly Mother „Za svu ljubav Majko draga”. Finally, parish priest Fr. Marinko, who supports this choir unselfishly, spoke to all who gathered on this occasion. (photos)
