Pilgrims from Tahiti in Medjugorje

date: 31.03.2015.

Many pilgrims were in Medjugorje in the last few days and among them we were specially moved by a group of 45 pilgrims from the distant Pacific island Tahiti. Pierre Anlgaux, the group leader, said that he first came to Medjugorje in 1996: “Since then I came here five times and Medjugorje really draws me back each time. In 2013, I decided to organise a pilgrimage that gathered 45 pilgrims that time. God willing, I will come again next year with a group. There are people who, after arriving here, returned and formed little prayer groups that meet for prayer very often. Those little groups are organising pilgrimages to Medjugorje as well.” Maire Manutahi from Tahiti came here for the first time and said that this was the most special experience for her and that she felt such peace here in Medjugorje.
