Sarcophagus with incorrupt body of St. Leopold Bogdan Mandic shall be on a route from Padua, Italy to the birth - place of St. Leopold, Herceg Novi in Montenegro from Thursday, September 14 to Tuesday, September 19. While travelling, body shall remain in several Croatian Archdioceses, and Dubrovnik is one of them. The relic of incorrupt body of St. Leopold shall be exposed in the Capuchin Monastery and shrine of Our Lady of Mercy in Gospino polje on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 & 17.
Sarcophagus shall arrive from Herceg Novi to Dubrovnik on Saturday at 8 pm and there shall be whole-night vigil in the church. Holy Masses in the church with the relic of body exposed shall be on Sunday at 9 and 11 am, while the body shall then travel to Split at 2 pm. Bishop of Dubrovnik, Mate Uzinic, will celebrate the Holy mass at 11 am.
Medjugorje parish shall organise a pilgrimage to Dubrovnik on the occasion of coming of the incorrupt body of St. Leopold Bogdan Mandic. Departure shall be on Sunday, September 17 at 5 am outside the Statue of Our Lady and registration for this pilgrimage is opened until Saturday, September 16, 12 pm.
