Karolina Mišikova: „New Year's Eve in prayer is so special in Medjugorje“

date: 31.12.2016.

Many pilgrims came to Medjugorje from all over the world in these days, especially the youth. They all came so they would celebrate New Year's Eve in prayer. Three buses arrived from Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. Kamila Mišikova, teacher , was  in that group.

She was in Medjugorje in 2007, when she arrived for the Youth Festival. This is what she said for  radio Mir Medjugorje: „I was moved by everything that happened here. I began to listen to radio Mir through Internet and I heard about Medjugorje by one of my friends for the first time. She joined missions afterwards. Not many people heard about Medjugorje in my town. When I returned home, I spoke about Medjugorje all the time and some people were even upset about it. I was so moved by this place that this is my 21st time to be here. One can feel huge peace and great love here.  If you wish to be in Heaven, come to Medjugorje. Many things drew me here, Holy Masses and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. I was also moved by Many people who truly live faith here. It is a huge grace. Seven years ago, my mom died and it was thanks to Medjugorje that I knew how to continue my life. I come from the family that never got to know the love of God and I am the only one who practices faith my family. Even though they were all baptised, they do not live their faith. I was blessed to live in the parish that was engaged a lot. I spoke about Medjugorje to many of my friends and some of them already came here. New Year's Eve in prayer is very special here. This is where one is closer to a God and to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Everything is really more intensive here.“
