The documentary “Medjugorska svjetla” (“The lights of Medjugorje”) was shown for the first time on Wednesday, December 15, in Dubrovnik in the diocesan hall “Bl. Alojzije Stepinac” full to capacity.
Three young artists from Dubrovnik made this documentary: Maro Jovic, Mato Kristovic and Boris Jovic. Melinda Dumitrescu who played on the violin the Medjugorje hymn «Majci mira» opened the presentation. Maro Jovic greeted then the audience and expressed his desire, that this light becomes a hope dwelling in each and every heart. In the audience were numerous priests, religious women, representatives of the town authorities and of the cultural life. Fr Mario Knezovic told them that this documentary bears witness to the fact that the definition and the image of Medjugorje are born in the hearts of the faithful in all parts of the world.
