Christmas wishes of Archbishop Henryk Hoser, the Apostolic Visitor for Medjugorje parish

date: 24.12.2020.

The Apostolic Visitor, Msgr. Henryk Hoser, expresses his Christmas wishes to all parishioners, pilgrims and people of good will, and this is what he said:

Dear parishioners of Medjugorje parish, dear pilgrims and all people of good will!

St. Luke, the evangelist, wrote:

“When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us. So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.” (Lk 2, 15-16)

From the depth of my heart I wish for this Christmas to be merciful event when you will rush to the church with joy, open your hearts to the newly born Jesus and allow Him to be born in you. I also wish that love towards little Jesus, on this Christmas, moves you to walk towards your neighbours, so they would have the experience of Christmas in the encounter with you.

May you all have blessed and merry Christmas!
