Last early Holy Mass at 6 a.m. will take place on Christmas Eve, December 24, and the Rosary on Apparition Hill will not take place on that day.
The evening prayer programme in the parish church will start with the Rosary at 5 p.m., Holy Mass at 6 p.m. Due to night-time curfew, the vigil begins at 8 p.m. and Midnight Holy Mass would be at 9 pm.
On Friday, December 25, we celebrate Christmas, the Feast of birth of Jesus. Holy Masses in the parish church are at 8,9.30 and 11 a.m. and at 6 p.m., while in branch churches in Miletina, Vionica and Surmanci Holy Masses are at 10 a.m. The whole-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will not take place this month.
On Saturday, December 26, we celebrate the Feast of St. Stephen, the first martyr. Holy Masses are only in the parish church at 8, 11 a.m and at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, December 27, we celebrate the Feast of St. John the Apostle. Holy Masses are only in the parish church in Medjugorje at 8, 9.30, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and in branch churches in Vionica, Miletina and Surmanci at 9 a.m.
The blessing of the families, as per decree of Bishop Petar Palic, is being postponed for some other, more convenient time, parish office announces.
