On Sunday, February 25, 2018, the ceremony of solemn and the first vows in the Franciscan Secular Order were held in the church of St. James in Medjugorje.
The Fraternity of the Franciscan Secular Order in Medjugorje became richer for two members who professed their temporary vows for one year and four new who entered the noviciate. The solemn Holy Mass was celebrated by the spiritual assistant of this Fraternity, Fr. Zvonimir Pavičić. Fr. Zvonimir said in his homily how it is hard to remain humble in the challenges offered in this world, how it is hard to follow the example of St. Francis, but only with strong efforts, one comes to the goal. The whole ceremony was full of pleasure, content and joy that radiated from those gathered, old and new members. We pray to St. Francis to protect us, strengthen us and to guide our Fraternity!
