From July 4 to 9, 2005, took place in Medjugorje the 10th International seminar for priests and religious (men). For this encounter in form of a retreat, about 300 priests from 26 countries of the world gathered together. The theme of the retreat was, “The Eucharist and Mary – Do whatever He tells you!”. The main preacher was dr. Fr. Zvjezdan Linic, ofm, preacher of the Retreat House “Tabor” in Samobor, (Zagreb, Croatia). One day, Fr. Jozo Zovko led the program of meditation and prayer.
The participants had an intense prayer programme: early in the morning, they climbed the Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain, and in the evening, they participated in the prayer- and liturgical programme of the Shrine. The priests also visited the tomb of Fr. Slavko Barbaric who had initiated this kind of gatherings of priests in Medjugorje. The introductory and the concluding evening Mass of the encounter were presided by Fr. Mario Knezovic and dr. Fr. Tomislav Pervan. The encounter was simultaneously translated from Croatian into 9 languages. The coordinator was Fr. Ljubo Kurtovic.
