„Marian Vow for Homeland“ arrived to Medjugorje

date: 22.08.2015.

On Friday, August 21, the 9th stage of the Marian Vow, Sinj-Međugorje was completed. Around 15 pilgrims arrived to Medjugorje after their last stage they had walked from Vitina. They will stay in Medjugorje until August 23, and then they will continue their walk towards Slano and Dubrovnik, where this pilgrimage through Marian shrines is going to be completed. The purpose of this pilgrimage is to continue the fight for peace and genuine freedom of Croatia in prayer and communion. All those who wish so can join this pilgrimage in the various stages, for a day or for a few days, as every step is important when united with thousands of those  given to Gospa as a vow for better Croatia. Vedran Pražen, the participant of this pilgrimage said: „The pilgrimage is going really well, the stages of walk are not too difficult at all. What impressed us the most so far is the hospitality of people whom we met so far...after the lunch we will go to Apparition Hill with our flag that has been to many shrines all over Croatia so far. Saturday is a day of rest here in Medjugorje, and then on Sunday we will go in direction of the south where our walk is going to finish“. (fotos)
